Dior forever Foundation
If you love makeup as much as I do, You'll know that a good foundation is as important as greasing a pan before you bake a cake. My first high-end foundation was the Dior forever foundation and it's absolutely amazing. I have tried many foundations over the years and I always find myself reaching for this one. The best part about the Dior forever is that it doesn't make you look cakey, even though it is full coverage. It is a matte foundation but still has a slight sheen to it. It lasts for 8-10 hours or even more than that depending on your skin type. I highly recommend this foundation for those who are sceptical on which foundation to invest in.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
The Nars radiant creamy concealer is a concealer that has won the hearts of many people. With their large shade range it is perfect for women of all skin types and skin tones. There is nothing worse than a concealer that creases after a few hours.
The concealer is comfortable under the eyes even though it is extremely full coverage and does a good job covering those under eye bags. The applicator makes the concealer really easy to apply. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that it doesn't seem to last very long. I seem to run out of it very quickly. But it's definitely worth the money.
The Laura Mercier Setting Powder
A Setting powder in your makeup kit is as important as a foundation and a concealer. If you use a liquid foundation, it is absolutely necessary to set your face after. Products move around if you don't set them. I bought the Laura Mercier powder 3 years ago and I haven't looked back since.
I use the powder after I apply my Primer, foundation and concealer. I take some of it on my damp Beauty blender and pat it on to my under eyes gently. Make sure there aren't any creases before you apply the powder. wipe off the excess powder under your eyes with an under eye brush. I also take some of the powder on a large Face brush and set my whole face with it. It's an absolutely beautiful formula and photographs really well.
Bobbi Brown Bronzer
With so many new brands in the market, we seem to forget about amazing brands like Bobbi Brown. Bobbi Brown is a legendary makeup artist that I have looked up to for years. I love how there is something very classy about the brand. They don't try too hard to stand out and sell their products. They believe in the quality of their brand and so do many others.
I haven't used too many Bobbi Brown products to be honest, but I have used some of their lipsticks and concealers and absolutely love them. Having a good bronzer in your kit is essential. I sometimes go overboard with my bronzing but it is one of My absolute favorite steps in the whole process. I love how a good bronzer can make you look like you have a chiseled face and can mimic a perfect jawline in a matter of minutes. The Bobbi Brown bronzer is beautiful and creamy and blends like a dream. It is very pigmented so it should be used carefully. Make sure you use a good bronzing brush. Bronzing can get very tricky. If you end up applying too much, your face can get muddy and ruin your base makeup.
Better Than Sex Mascara
My final must-have product is the Better Than Sex mascara. Where do I even begin? Believe me when I say that this mascara has changed my life forever. If you haven't tried it, Please go buy it right now. Also, throw away your other mascaras because nothing will beat this one. A few coats of this mascara makes my lashes look long and thick. so, I have never felt the need to wear fake lashes. Mascara makes so much of a difference to any makeup look. It is absolutely essential to have a good mascara in Your makeup kit. The one negative part apart from the price is the fact that it dries up really Quickly. Make sure you close the lid well after you use it. I have easily gone through at least 10 of these in the last few months.
